Arrival

The Chair of Biochemistry is located in building A2 on level 01 in the Biologikum on the south site of Erlangen.

You will find the secretary in room 01.371. Please use the following map for direction:

Arrival by car

From the A3 motorway, south of Erlangen, take the exit towards B4/Erlangen-Tennenlohe and then follow Äußere Nürnberger Straße to the exit towards Gräfenberg/Erlangen-Ost. Continue to follow the signs to the southern part of the University on to Kurt-Schumacher-Straße. Behind the technical faculty, turn left at the first traffic light in the direction of “University of Biology / Physics”. The Biologicum and the Physikum are about 200 meters further on the left of the street.

By train and bus

Erlangen can be reached by train from Nuremberg main station in 15-20 minutes. From Erlangen main station, you can take bus line 287 or 293 in the direction of Sebaldussiedlung in 15-20 minutes to the terminus “Sebaldussiedlung” on Erwin-Rommel-Straße. A short walk takes you to the Biologikum and Physikum.

By plane

The Biologicum can be reached from Nuremberg Airport by taxi in 15-20 minutes.

Alternatively, take Nuremberg city bus no. 32 to Nuremberg Thon and from there city bus no. 30 in the direction Erlangen. Get off at the “Erlangen Süd” station and from there it is a 15-minute walk to the Biologicum. Timetable information can be found here.
